MANILA -- Korean boy group EXO lived up to the name of their concert tour as they sent their fans to paradise during the Manila leg of their Exo Planet #4 - The Elyxion tour Saturday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.

According to EXO members, "elyxion" means paradise, and they sure lived up to the expectations of the fans.

EXO welcomed their screaming fans with their hit songs "The Eve," "Forever" and "Ko Ko Bop" from their latest album "The War."

They then followed this up with "Growl" before individual members went on their solo performances.

There was no dull moment during the concert, as fans were treated to videos featuring the members while they prepare for their next numbers.

EXO also made sure to interact with their fans, as they recalled their previous concerts in Manila. One of the members, Sehun, revealed that he went to the Philippines alone for a vacation, while Chanyeol was also in the country to get his certificate in scuba diving.

For almost three hours, EXO members D.O., Suho, Chanyeol, Xiumin, Baekhyun, Kai, Chen and Sehun entertained their fans with their dance moves and cute antics.

They also made sure to make their fans swoon, as the members repeatedly uttered the popular Filipino phrase "Mahal kita!" as they ended their performance with their latest single, "Power."

But fans know better than to leave the venue as EXO performed their "last" song. They went back on stage for their encore performance, this time welcomed by gifts fans tossed on stage.

EXO performed "Don't Go" and "Angel" as they picked up and played with some of the gifts from fans.

EXO-Ls, as their fans are called, also made sure to sing for Baekhyun, who will be celebrating his birthday on May 6.

Fan Jarah Fernandez admitted she streamed the "Elyxion" show in South Korea but said witnessing the concert live was a different experience.

"Sobrang nag-enjoy ako. Never ko inakala na mapapanood ko sila live," Fernandez said after the concert.

"Ang dami kong inabangan pero pinakagusto ko makita ay 'yong mga solo part ng bawat members. And sa napanood ko, sobrang galing nila as a group and individually," said Fernandez, a 21-year-old medicine freshman.

"Sobrang pogi nilang lahat tapos ang gagaling sumayaw at kumanta," said 20-year-old Cezanne Magcale.

Other fans expressed disappointment over the absence of Chinese member Lay, who is busy with his promotion schedule in China, but said they were still satisfied with the concert.

"For me parang sobrang okay lang (na wala si Lay) kasi sobrang successful din naman ni Lay sa China... Pero as much as possible, gusto ko rin maksama siya sa EXO ulit, maka-tour siya kasi 'yon 'yong home niya," Magcale said.

"I wish next year he (Lay) will come here kahit siya lang mag-isa," said fan Renelli Mercado.

Fans also took to social media to express their thoughts on the concert, with the hashtag, #ElyXiOnInManila generating 1.7 million tweets.
