MANILA - Actress Angel Aquino on Monday introduced her lovely daughters Iana and Thea Bernardez to the public on the morning show "Magandang Buhay" on Monday.

Aquino also shared her struggles as a single mother, like when Thea was diagnosed with hydrocephalus.

"Ako bilang mom 'yung bigat sa puso, sa damdamin, sa isip. Pero I can't imagine what she went through. 'Yun nga noong pinanganak ko siya na hydrocephalus buti na lang medyo naka-work na ako noon so we were able to support the operation. Pero kasi nag-recur 'yon when she was 10 years old so mas mahirap," Aquino recalled.

"You just have to keep your faith and you have to be strong para everyone around her is strong also," she added.

Aquino admitted that her experience with Thea made her realize that a mother's love is truly unconditional.

"Minsan nga parang 'sana ako na lang.' Laging ganoon na naiintindihan ko lang 'yan ngayon na mommy na ako," she said, as thanker her own mother for helping her in raising her two kids.

Meanwhile, Iana and Thea have only good words for their mother.

"She's chill. She's okay with what we do, she supports us, cool mom," Thea said.

"Sobrang bait na magi-guilty ka kapag masama ka. Kaya kunwari magde-decide ka, 'yung good choice na lang 'yung pipiliin mo," Iana added. "She teaches you how to make good decicisions because she gives you the freedom to do it. Bilang respeto, because your mom gave you that freedom, you choose to do the right thing."

Aquino is part of ABS-CBN's newest series "Till I Met You" with lead stars James Reid and Nadine Lustre.
