This was the question thrown by her “It’s Showtime” co-host Vice Ganda in the show’s Friday episode. The topic was prompted by a line from the performance of a “Tawag ng Tanghalan” contender, whom they were interviewing.

Pausing to give the question some thought, Curtis replied: “Wala pa naman.”

The answer had Vice Ganda in a pretend fit of anger, which snowballed into an entire speech about how supposed average-looking people such as him, as opposed to those who fit in society’s standards of beauty, struggle to find love and opportunities and face more rejections.

When a supportive Curtis said that she, too, has experienced being left behind, Vice Ganda quipped, “Sa palagay mo, bakit sa inyo nangyari ni Sam Milby ‘yan?”

Vice Ganda was referring to Curtis’ former boyfriend, with whom she had a tumultuous relationship. The two have managed to become friends, and even went on to co-star in several movie and TV projects after their breakup.
