MANILA -- Kathryn Bernardo, who plays Malia on "La Luna Sangre," sang "Hiling" during Thursday's episode of hit teleserye.

Originally recorded by Jay-R Siaboc, "Hiling" was recently covered by Jake Zyrus.

It will be recalled that Bernardo at one point wore her hair short on the show, which some netizens said made her look like Zyrus's "long-lost brother."

While Bernardo no longer sports short hair on the show, many netizens still found the song choice hilarious.

The episode's official hashtag #LaLunaSangrePastToPresent instantly took the top trending spot on Twitter. And even Jake Zyrus himself was tweeting about it.
