MANILA — A far cry from her glamorous image as Romina Mondragon in “Kadenang Ginto,” Beauty Gonzalez plays a nightshift security guard apparently captured by ghosts in the upcoming iWant original horror flick “Abandoned.”

In the trailer of the film, Gonzalez’s character is assigned on roving duties at midnight and 3 a.m. at an abandoned building in Manila, which turns out to be haunted.

She is depicted to be physically captured by ghosts — but hints of a traumatic experience from a previous job cast doubt as to whether her encounters are indeed paranormal, or a product of her mind.

Also joining Gonzalez in “Abandoned” is Seth Fedelin as her son.

“Abandoned” was written and directed by Kip Oebanda, and produced by Dreamscape Digital and Quantum Films. It will be available to stream on iWant this month.
