MANILA -- The Philippine Association of the Record Industry unveiled the nominees for the Awit Awards 2017 on Friday.

Now on its 30th season, the Awit Awards aims to recognize the best contributions to the music industry for the past year, as well as to celebrate the Filipino’s passion and love for music.

Last year, Sarah Geronimo and Ebe Dancel took home the top honors at the 29th Awit Awards. Geronimo won Album of the Year for "The Great Unknown," while Dancel bagged the Song of the Year award for "Bawat Daan."

This year, Star Music, ABS-CBN's record label has, has garnered 45 nominations. Here's the full list of nominees:
