MANILA -- Former "It's Showtime" host Eric Tai and his wife, Rona, are set to welcome their first child.

Tai, known to many as "Eruption," happily shared the good news with his Instagram followers on Monday.

"Ladies and gentlemen.. 'I'm finally pregnant!' Thank you for your love and support!" he wrote.

Rona, for her part, shared a video of their recent visit to the doctor, using the hashtag #roadtobabytai.

Tai and his wife have decided to undergo in vitro fertilization, or IVF, to have a baby.

They tied the knot in 2015.
