Toni Gonzaga credits "Eat Bulaga," the long-running noontime show which she co-hosted for a time, for a key learning she follows to this day when it comes to her profession.

Gonzaga, whose success as an actress, singer and host has earned her the moniker "Ultimate Multimedia Star," shared the recollection in the latest vlog entry of her sister, actress Alex Gonzaga, featuring the sisters reading rude comments on social media about them.

One such critical comment was about Alex's hosting skills.

Alex, like Toni, has hosted numerous ABS-CBN programs. Notably, they both co-hosted different iterations of "The Voice."

Coming to the defense of her younger sister, Toni said, "Honestly, mas mabilis ang utak ni Alex sa akin, mas witty siya, at mas nakakatawa siya."

She went on: "Natutunan ko dati sa 'Eat Bulaga,' ang hosting daw is presenting your personality and who you are to the world. It's presenting who you are, with conviction na dini-deliver mo 'yung what is asked of you, to tell your audience."

Addressing Alex, she then said, "Kung naiinis siya sa 'yo, ibig sabihin, naiinis siya sa personality na pinapakita mo sa TV."

An award-winning host, Toni was an "Eat Bulaga" mainstay for three years until 2005, when she transferred to ABS-CBN. As a Kapamilya, she became the main host of "Pinoy Big Brother" among other several reality and talk shows.
