MANILA — In a few weeks, Empress Schuck's firstborn Athalia will turn 2 but, in those two years, a lot has changed in the actress' life.

Apart from temporarily leaving showbiz, the 24-year-old said she needed to make several adjustments when she became a mother.

"Malaki iyong pagbabago sa personality ko. Sa pag-iisip ko sa mundo, ganoon siya ka-deep," she said during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Friday.

According to Schuck, she only realized the real meaning of being mature when she became a parent. Even her shopping habits, she said, took a major shift. From clothes and accessories, she now prioritizes diapers and anything for Athalia.

"Akala ko dati mature na ako. Pero immature pala ako noon. Eto pala iyong meaning ng maturity. And I really became more positive and malaki talaga iyong pagbabago sa buhay kapag naging mother ka na," she added.

With her baby's 2nd birthday around the corner, Schuck has decided to return to showbiz. She starred on an episode of "Ipaglaban Mo" with Jason Abalos on Saturday.
