Is Mocha Uson breaking up the Mocha Girls?

Not really, according to the controversial singer-dancer, saying the group will continue to do shows but with one major difference.

"Tuloy-tuloy pa din ang Mocha Girls. Gabi-gabi nagsho-show kami. ... Tuloy-tuloy ang Mocha Girls sa shows namin pero wholesome na 'yung show," she said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

Uson said that she's turning over a new leaf, noting that most of the criticism coming her way is because of her risqué image and past as a sex columnist.

"Naniniwala po ako na ang tunay na pagbabago ay nagsisimula sa sarili. Bina-bash kasi ako dahil sa pagkatao ko at bina-bash ako dahil 'yung mga nagawa kong pagpapa-sexy noon," she said.

"Marami na po akong mga pinagsisihang nagawa noon kaya ngayon ay sinisimulan ko na ang tunay na pagbabago sa sarili ko."

Uson said she will still be part of the Mocha Girls and will still be part of the shows.

She also has a challenge to her supporters and haters.

"Dapat manood sila at makita talaga yung pagbabago ng performance namin. Hindi na yung tulad ng dati, hindi tulad ng mga inuungkat ngayon ng mga haters," she said.

Uson recently came under scrutiny when she was reportedly named a "social media consultant" of the Bureau of Customs.

The bureau, however, denied Uson's appointment but said the latter can support the BOC through her blog.
