MANILA - Fans of Angel Locsin got excited as the actress did the famous pose of the Filipino superheroine Darna.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Locsin is seen doing the "Darna" pose in a gym.

Commenting on the Instagram photo, fans cheered for Locsin and hoped that she would consider reprising the title role of Darna in the upcoming Star Cinema adaptation of Mars Ravelo's iconic superheroine.
Locsin previously backed out after developing a disc bulge in her spine.

Acclaimed director Erik Matti has admitted that finding an actress to replace Locsin as Darna would be difficult, "kasi alam na ni Angel ang nilalaman ng puso ni Darna."
Newly proclaimed "FHM Sexiest Woman" Jessy Mendiola and "On the Wings of Love" star Nadine Lustre earlier said that they are willing to audition as Darna.
