MANILA - Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo was taken aback when asked to confirm details about her supposed break-up with boyfriend Gerald Anderson.

Anderson reportedly told actor Dennis Padilla, the father of Julia Baretto, that he and Alonzo already broke up.

"He said that? Honestly, to my understanding we did not break up. He just started not talking to me," said Alonzo in a chance interview after the presentation of cast of Star Creatives’ newest series Friday.

Anderson’s relationship with Barretto has been the subject of speculation in the past week, after Alonzo, through a cryptic Instagram post, hinted at infidelity in her relationship.

Amid the controversy, Alonzo said she was moving forward.

"Malaking bagay na nandiyan 'yung mga kaibigan ko... Maraming nagki-care para sa akin. Actually nagugulat nga ako na marami ang nagpapadala ng bulaklak, marami ang nagti-text. Malaking bagay 'yon para sa akin," aniya.
