MANILA – Veteran actress Dina Bonnevie was unable to escape questions about the news that her former husband, Vic Sotto, will soon have another child with his current wife, actress Pauleen Luna.

Speaking to entertainment site Push, Bonnevie admitted that at 63, Sotto is relatively “too old” to have another baby.

"I'm sure siguro if he would have his way, parang he's too old na to have another child and to start all over again. But siyempre, you cannot take that right away from Pauleen,” she said.

“She has also a right to become a mom and any wife would like to be a mother ‘di ba? Lalo na kung mahal na mahal mo 'yung lalaking napangasawa mo, siyempre gusto mo makita 'yung naging prutas ng pagsasamahan ninyo," she added.

Bonnevie also speculated on what could possibly worry Sotto when Luna finally gives birth “like 'paano 'yan kapag may mga PTA sa school, ‘Mapagkamalan akong lolo ng bata,'” she said laughing.

“Kasi nagbibiro siya ng ganon. Ang sabi ko naman sa kanya 'Given na iyon. Alam mo iyon pagpunta mo sa PTA, lolo ka.' Or maybe si Pauleen nalang ang mag-attend, but come on! It's an open book naman so I think they don't care about it," the actress added.

Bonnevie and Sotto have two children, Danica and Oyo Boy Sotto.
