MANILA -- Kaye Abad has joyfully announced that she's pregnant.

The actress is expecting her first child with husband Paul Jake Castillo, whom she married in Cebu last December.

Abad, who turned 35 last May, shared the happy news on social media with a sonogram photo, adding that it is the best birthday gift she has ever received in her life.

In previous interviews, Abad admitted that she wants to start a family as soon as she can with Castillo, explaining that she wants to have three kids at most.

"Siyempre priority 'yung family kasi [ma]tagal kong pinangarap 'yung magkaroon ng sariling pamilya," she said.
