Korean boy band iKON to perform in Manila

Filipino fans of the South Korean boy band iKON will have something to look forward to as the group is set to perform in Manila as part of their first world tour.

A post from the group's official Facebook account Monday announced that Manila to be one of the stops of the Asian leg of their "2018 Continue Tour."

Dates for the tour's Asian leg have yet to be announced.

The group will kick off the tour in Seoul on August 18.

Last January, the group released their second studio album "Return," which includes the chart-topping hit "Love Scenario."

Comprised of seven members, iKON debuted in 2015 under YG Entertainment, the same agency that created groups such as Big Bang, 2NE1, Winner, and Blackpink.

They were formed through the reality survival programs "WIN: Who Is Next" and "Mix and Match."
