Four feature films have been chosen as the official entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2018.

The announcement was made this Friday, revealing that Vice Ganda's "Fantastica: The Princess, The Prince, and The Perya" made the cut based on script submissions.

The Star Cinema and Viva Films collaboration also stars Maris Racal, Loisa Andalio, and Maymay Entrata.

It will be directed by Barry Gonzalez, whose previous works include "Fangirl Fanboy."

The other four, to be picked from the finished film submissions, will be announced at a later date by the MMFF committee.

Similarly, short film entries have yet to be determined.
