Coney Reyes marked her son Vico Sotto's birthday on Instagram this Wednesday.

And the screen veteran did so by sharing with her fans the cutest compilation of throwback snaps showing Sotto back when he was still a toddler, capturing a few of the mayor's fun memories.

She accompanied them with a heartfelt caption: "I will always be here praying for you, helping you in any and every way I can. I love you so much, son! I praise and thank God for you everyday."

Sotto, the mayor of Pasig City, turned 31 this Wednesday.

For his birthday wish, he told his supporters who want to send him gifts to instead buy food packs for the needy or drop these off at his office for distribution.

He also asked his employees to refrain from organizing a surprise party for his birthday, as a precaution against COVID-19.

"Papunta na po akong opis ngayon. May binabalak kayo itigil niyo na 'yan!" he said on Twitter, where he has 1.4 million followers.

His post alluded to when Metro Manila police chief Gen. Debold Sinas and some of his colleagues allegedly violated a 10-people limit on gatherings at his mañanita last month.
