A potentially untoward incident involving a dancer was averted Thursday on "It's Showtime," thanks to the quick thinking of host Anne Curtis during the noontime program's "Miss Q&A" segment.

Curtis and co-host Vice Ganda were interviewing one of the contestants, when the female dancer was called in to hand a fish bowl of questions to the aspiring queen.

On her way out, however, the dancer tripped, causing the knot securing her dress to loosen. Noticing this, Curtis immediately ran towards her, and pulled her to the side of the stage to help fix the dress.
