MANILA – The cast of the primetime drama “My Dear Heart” recently brought love and hope to patients of the Philippine Heart Center as a way of giving thanks for its successful run.

Led by child star Nayomi Ramos and actors Zanjoe Marudo, Bela Padilla Ria Atayde and Coney Reyes, the cast bonded and created good memories with patients with heart disease.

They also handed them gifts, which the patients and their families will surely treasure.

The soap, which debuted last January 23, is now down to its last few episodes. It tells the story of Heart de Jesus (Ramos), a lovable girl who falls into a coma but is still able to show the people around her the true meaning of hope and love.

In a heart-wrenching episode that struck viewers, Margaret (Reyes) revealed that based on her expertise, Heart already has no chance of surviving.

However, she notices that every time her granddaughter is happy, her condition becomes better. With this, they make sure to fulfill Heart’s dream list to make her happy in hopes that she will get well.

It remains to be seen whether Heart’s family will be able to fulfill her dream list.

“My Dear Heart” airs from Monday to Friday after “Ang Probinsyano” on ABS-CBN.
