MANILA – ABS-CBN chief content officer Charo Santos-Concio is slated to do another movie after the success of her comeback film "Ang Babaeng Humayo."

In an interview on Wednesday, Concio revealed that the movie will again be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lav Diaz. Its story will revolve around the life of a Filipino nanny working abroad.

“The entire film will be shot in Singapore. It’s about an OFW who comes home to bury her son but na-delay 'yung flight niya so she had to stay in the Singapore airport. She met young OFWs during the transit. And then she got to know the way of thinking of these young OFWs,” Concio shared.

“Yes, they work hard for their families but they are also thinking of themselves. Hindi na katulad nung previous generation na nakakalimutan ang sarili, ang nasa isip lang nila ay 'yung pamilya nila. They forget about their own happiness. They forgot to love themselves,” she added.

Concio said her character’s encounter with the younger OFWs will make her realize that the people she’s been serving for abroad has also been her family for years.

Since she returned to acting, Concio said she is glad to be back in her element.
