MANILA -- The clamor for another movie project starring Lea Salonga and Aga Muhlach is still on after the two reunited at a family dinner with their spouses on Monday night.

Salonga shared on Instagram a selfie with Muhlach, and wrote: "Dinner companion for tonight. Spouses were also in attendance! #HopiaNoMore."

The photo was re-posted by Muhlach and his wife Charlene Gonzalez.

Salonga and Muhlach were paired in the movies "Sana Maulit Muli" and "Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal."

In an interview with ABS-CBN News earlier this year, Salonga admitted that she is not optimistic about the prospect of doing a movie with Muhlach this year.

"I mean I would love to, again, if schedules work out. But I'm looking at my year and certain prospects and possibilities, and I'm not optimistic about our prospect for doing a film this year," she said.

Yet, fans remain hopeful that the project will pursue in due time.
