MANILA — "The World of a Married Couple," the highest-rated Korean cable drama series, is set to air in the Philippines as one of the fresh offerings of Kapamilya Channel.

The hit K-drama, about a couple whose marriage is rocked by infidelity, will debut on June 15, Kapamilya Channel announced on Thursday.

Kapamilya Channel will be available starting June 13 on SKY, Cablelink, G Sat, and most member-cable operators of the Philippine Cable Television Association (PCTA) nationwide.

The Philippine TV premiere of "A World of a Married Couple" comes just a month after its record-breaking conclusion in South Korea.

It joins a strong maiden lineup of programs from Kapamilya Channel, which includes well-loved ABS-CBN shows like "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano," "It's Showtime," and "ASAP Natin 'To."

New shows include the public service programs "Paano Ba Kita Pasasalamatan" with Judy Ann Santos, and "Iba 'Yan" with Angel Locsin.

The cable and satellite TV channels that will carry the Kapamilya Channel are owned and operated by other companies and are not covered by the cease and desist order issued by the NTC to ABS-CBN.
