MANILA -- It wasn't long ago when his friends were teasing him about being shy with his feelings for Miss Universe winner Catriona Gray --it was just a day ago, in fact.

But it seems it was all a bit of a ruse as it turns out, as Sam Milby has already confessed to the beauty queen, who won the Miss Universe title in 2018, and that they are now dating.

"Worth every second of the wait. Most special birthday yet," the actor wrote as the caption to a sweet photo of him together with Gray.

It was last year when rumors romantically linking the two began.

Back in January, Gray downplayed them by saying that she and Milby are just good friends who go to church together and are under the same talent management agency, Cornerstone.
