The grandfather of actor Christian Bables has died. He was 76.
Bables, best known for his role in "Die Beautiful," shared the news on Instagram this week, telling his followers: "The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said and never explained."
In the photo of him with his lolo, Bables added: "You’ve been a big big part of the man I became. I am deeply pained, tay. Sorry, I love you, and see you again tatay."
In an interview with Pep, Bables recounted that his grandfather fell into a coma after slipping when he was inside their home's bathroom, hitting his head. He shared that his grandfather was confined for a week.
Bables, who is part of the afternoon drama "Asintado," is currently back in his hometown in Negros Occidental.
Bables is best known for his role in "Die Beautiful," an entry to the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival. He won the Gawad Urian for Best Supporting Actor for that year.
