MANILA — It appears the Salazar siblings had a long-lost brother who’s recently just surfaced, with no less than a winning claim to the mayoral seat of Pasig City, making him “Mama’s new favorite.”

That’s according to the latest meme drawn from the well-loved 2013 film “Four Sisters and a Wedding,” about siblings who connive against their only brother’s upcoming wedding, in the process opening a can of worms about their relationships.

Rebreb (Enchong Dee), the youngest and lone brother, turns out to not be the only male Salazar sibling — or so fans joked in light of the real-life proud mom moment of Coney Reyes, who portrayed the mother, Grace, in the Star Cinema film.

Vico Sotto, Reyes’ son with comedy icon Vic Sotto, was recently proclaimed Pasig City mayor, toppling the 27-year leadership of the Eusebio political family there.

In the wake of his victory, several photos of 29-year-old Vico with a jubilant Reyes surfaced online — prompting comparisons with the actress’ “Four Sisters” character, whose favoritism among her kids was the subject of a climactic scene in the movie.

Fans were convinced that Grace, or “Mama,” now had a new favorite — no longer her “panganay” Teddie (Toni Gonzaga) nor the “bunso” Rebreb.

Here’s a look at some of the hilarous take on the so-called lost brother of the Salazar siblings:
