MANILA -- Enchong Dee is encouraging people to keep speaking up during these perilous times, even at the risk of appearing "silly," as, he says, "this is the only way we can move forward as a country.

Dee shared a poem on Twitter this Monday, which he described as amateurish but one that he wrote after processing his emotions over some of the latest news, including ABS-CBN being taken off air.

"I came up with this ...sharing to you my love for my country," he wrote as the caption. You can check it out below:

His post came days after his fellow ABS-CBN artists where criticized for voicing out their anger towards the government decision to order ABS-CBN to stop its free broadcast operations.

This includes Dee himself, who has been known as a vocal critic of this administration.
