MANILA - Marielle Montellano from Cebu secured a place in the second semi-finals of "Tawag ng Tanghalan" on Thursday.
MANILA - Marielle Montellano from Cebu secured a place in the second semi-finals of "Tawag ng Tanghalan" on Thursday.
Montellano, who lost to Dominador Aviola the first time she joined the singing competition back in January, successfully defended her title for the fifth time to automatically make it to the semi-final round.

Montellano wowed the judges with her powerful rendition of Shirley Bassey's "This Is My Life," receiving a score of 95.4%.
