MANILA – OPM group 17:28 has reunited to record a new version of their 2002 hit “Sukob Na” which rose to fame after it was used as the music to the iconic ABS-CBN Station ID during the rainy season that year.

Uploaded in the official YouTube page of band member Joaquin Valdes, he said “these uncertain and unprecedented times brought us back together to make (or re-make) some music.”

Valdes said the song is about sticking together no matter what the weather and they in the group “felt people needed to hear this now more than ever.”

“Umulan man o umaraw, rain or shine, magkasama tayo,” he said.
