MANILA — One day before the celebration of Mother's Day, "It's Showtime" host Mariel Padilla revealed that she's expecting her second child with husband Robin Padilla.

During a special segment of the noontime show Saturday, Padilla made the announcement as she paid tribute to all mothers ahead of the special occasion on Sunday.

"I am so happy to share with all of you... na si Isabella po ay magiging ate na. I am 3 months pregnant with baby number 2," Padilla said.

Isabella is Padilla's first child. Before having her firstborn in 2016, Padilla had suffered two miscarriages in 2015.
