MANILA — Veteran actor Tirso Cruz III celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, April 1.

On Instagram, the actor posted a throwback photo of him with his family, and once again expressed his love for his first born TJ, who passed away in November 2018 after battling cancer.

The actor also shared his wish for a cure for COVID-19.

“GODly heavenly morning TJ! It’s my birthday today. Sadly, it is my second birthday that I will be celebrating without you. Though I know you are happy for me from where you are now. The enhanced quarantine continues to be in effect. I thank God hope they find a cure or vaccine for this Covid 19 soon. For people are really having a hard time. Missing you TEEJ,” Cruz wrote in the caption.
