MANILA - Pinoy Big Brother alum Yen Santos has some words for her critics who keep on questioning why she was paired for Piolo Pascual in a movie.

Santos plays Pascual's love interest in the movie "Northern Lights: A Journey to Love." This is also her first movie.

"Hindi naman po talaga mawawala 'yang mga ganyang kwestiyon. Hindi ko din naman po maple-please lahat ng tao," Santos told TV host Boy Abunda on Monday.

"Pero para sa akin po Tito Boy, masaya ako na may mga taong naniniwala at nagtitiwala sa akin. At 'yon po ang importante," she added.

"Northern Lights: A Journey To Love" is set in a picturesque town in Alaska. It is directed by Dondon Santos and will premiere in cinemas nationwide on March 29.
