Dance group pays homage to Pinoy roots, advances to 'PGT' finals

Folk-hip hop fusion dance group Nocturnal Dance Group once again proved they are deserving of the "golden buzzer."

On Sunday's live semifinals, the dance group once again wowed the judges with their dance moves.

"Congratulations tonight. That's how you open the competition. Ang galing-galing niyo," Vice Ganda said.

"Alam niyo, bagay na bagay sa inyo 'yung pangalan niyo kasi nocturnal, 'yun 'yung gising sa gabi 'di ba. Sigurado ako, mamayang gabi mapupuyat ako kasi iisipin ko 'yung ipinakita niyong napakahusay na moves," Angel Locsin added.

Nocturnal Dance Company is this season's first grand finalist after receiving the most number of viewers' votes.

They will be joined by Orville Tonido, whose hilarious "Lily Cruz" act earned him a slot in the grand finals after they got the nod from Locsin and Vice Ganda.

Hosted by Billy Crawford and Toni Gonzaga, "Pilipinas Got Talent" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
