Anne Curtis, Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes and Ria Atayde are TV stars not usually seen together in social circles or onscreen projects these days, so fans wondered what gathered the four Kapamilya beauties in one photo.

Curtis referred to her companions as "baby girls" in the caption of the photo she posted on Instagram Thursday. It shows her sharing a light moment with her fellow ABS-CBN stars.

With nearly 9 million followers on the image-sharing platform, Curtis had her fans wondering as to the reason she met with Atayde, Montes and Bernardo.

It turned out the four were part of a larger group of other Kapamilya stars, who all have something in common: their birthdays fall within the first quarter of the year.

They were gathered by ABS-CBN bosses, including president and CEO Carlo Katigbak and COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, for a dinner to celebrate jointly the birthdays in the last three months.

Curtis turned 33 last February 17. Montes will turn 23 on March 19; Atayde, 26, on March 23; and Bernardo, 22, on March 26.

Their fellow first-quarter celebrators include Piolo Pascual, Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Julia Barretto, Janella Salvador and Karylle.
