MANILA – Actress Kim Chiu is living up to her promise of having a more active lifestyle this 2017.

After joining her first-ever duathlon early this month, Chiu revealed on Instagram that she is now into motocross.

In a series of posts on Monday, Chiu documented her first day of riding a big bike at a motocross field.

Although it was never part of her bucket list, the actress said riding an off-road motorcycle was worth the try.

"Didn't have any idea driving this thing... but slowly, step by step I'll get through it," she wrote.

Chiu then thanked her rumored boyfriend, actor Xian Lim, for introducing her to the sport.

"Thanks to this amazing guy beside me (aside from coach Ramil) for the moral support," she said. "[The year] 2017 will definitely be a lot of firsts when it comes to physical activities."

Currently, Chiu is busy working on the upcoming ABS-CBN series "Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin" which also stars Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca.

All three are triathletes in the said series.
