Fans of teen star Andrea Brillantes were left confused Sunday when her girl group, BFF5, took the "ASAP" stage with a Spice Girls number, but with a new member instead of her.

Prior to BFF5's "Wannabe" performance, the Star Magic pop group welcomed "Pinoy Big Brother" graduate Elisse Joson as an addition to original members Maris Racal, Loisa Andalio, Ylona Garcia, and Kira Balinger.

But Brillantes, who had been part of BFF5 since its January 2017 launch, was nowhere to be found in the pre-performance roll, as well as the Spice Girls number where each member took on a persona of the UK girl group.

On Twitter, fans of Brillantes and BFF5 released a flood of questions as to what happened to the 14-year-old actress, and whether Joson was indeed a replacement or simply an addition. But then, a few noted, the group wouldn't be called BFF5 with six members.

Despite being puzzled by Joson's sudden inclusion, other fans welcomed the 22-year-old model, while a number speculated that Brillantes appeared too young relative the group's composition. Andalio is 18, Racal is 20, Balinger is 17, while Garcia is 15.

Likely, Andrea was either cut/released/traded away from BFF5 due to being too young.

"ASAP" and Star Magic have yet to explain Brillantes' absence from BFF5's latest performance. The members, including Joson, have also not mentioned nor addressed questions about the new composition.
