MANILA -- Veteran actress Charo Santos-Concio lauded actor Daniel Padilla, her co-star in the upcoming film "Whether the Weather is Fine."
On Instagram, Santos, who posted behind-the-scene photos of the much-awaited film with Padilla, shared her thoughts working with the young actor.
"This kid is really something! Been watching him since he started pero iba pala when you get to work with him... at lalo pa when you get to actually know him! He amazes me in every scene! (And the fan in me gets kilig everytime... sorry @bernardokath)," Santos wrote in the caption, unedited.
"@supremo_dp you are one of a kind... continue to love your art, your craft and your family. You still have a big world to conquer... go for it! I will be proudly watching Can’t wait for everyone to watch this film!" Santos added.
"Whether the Weather is Fine" is directed by Carlo Francisco Manatad who was born in Tacloban, one of the hardest-hit areas by typhoon Yolanda back in 2013.
The official synopsis for it reads: "Against the backdrop of the typhoon Yolanda, a mother (Santos) and her son (Padilla) struggle for survival and deal with absurdity of fate, sustained by the hope that they carry, and what is lost and gained."
