JM de Guzman has a new leading lady.

More than a month after his acting career gained a new lease on life when he signed with Star Magic, it was announced that he will be paired with Barbie Imperial for a drama.

They will be working together for the first time on the upcoming "Precious Hearts Romances Presents Araw Gabi".

This is De Guzman's first TV project in 2 years.

There are no details yet on his role opposite Imperial, a former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate and GirlTrends member.

The series will be directed by Theodore Boborol ("Just the Way You Are," "Vince & Kath & James"), and produced by RSB Drama Unit, the same group behind the hit afternoon drama "Wildflower."
