MANILA - Singer-actress Tippy Dos Santos is now studying law at the University of the Philippines (UP) in Diliman.

In an exclusive interview with Push at the Pure Magic 2019 event, Dos Santos said she has always been surrounded by lawyers in her family.

"Bata pa lang ako feeling ko gusto ko na talaga mag-make ng change and I feel like the field of law is somewhere na macha-challenge ako kasi ang hirap talaga,” she said.

She also shared some of the challenges she is facing in law school.

"I think the hardest part about law school is recitation kasi talagang tatawagin ka hindi ka prepared. Prepared ka, matatawag ka minsan. Tapos minsan kahit gaano ka ka-prepared minsan hindi mo alam isasagot mo. But I guess ‘yun ‘yung magandang bond sa 'ming blockmates na lahat man kami mapahiya, na whenever it happens, normal lang talaga - and it’s gonna be okay," Dos Santos said.

The former MYX VJ admitted she is still adjusting to her new life.

"I feel like right now nahihirapan pa ako mag-adjust kasi ang dami kong nahihindi-an. May mga jobs talaga na I have to say no to. But at the end of the day, I try to make it a part of my life pa rin. Kasi I love it so much - singing, performing. And hopefully, next semester mas kasanayan ko pa. Thankful ako na understanding both ang Star Magic at ang Stages sa path na tinetake ko ngayon," Dos Santos said.

Dos Santos said she is working on being more active on YouTube to stay in touch with her followers.

“This year, I’m trying to be more active on YouTube kasi it’s the only way I think I can keep my self relevant. So tuloy-tuloy lang. I’m trying to either edit quicker or find an editor. So ‘yun talaga ‘yung gusto kong goal ngayon - ang ma-pursue ang YouTube channel,” she said.
