There's rarely a situation more awkward than being romantically linked with one's cousin.

But that's the situation Bela Padilla found herself in after she posted a photo of her with her second cousin, Daniel Padilla.

Speaking on Tuesday's "Tonight With Boy Abunda," a seriously irritated Bela revealed that she had to delete a few comments suggesting their own nasty spin in her photo with Daniel.

Explaining that she was offended, she said: "They were pissed off that Daniel was in a picture with another girl."

"Parang they were putting color into it. So I deleted those kasi kadiri. Mag-pinsan kami, alam mo iyon?"

Bela is related to the Padilla clan through her maternal grandmother, Eva Cariño, who was the wife of Roy Padilla Sr., the father of Robin Padilla and grandfather to Daniel.

She said that it annoys her whenever someone would question their blood relation, sharing that she used to spend a few summers with her uncle Robin and the action star's daughters.

"I just feel like paulit-ulit na lang," she said.

Padilla was on the late-night talk show to promote her new movie, "Meet Me in St. Gallen."

It premieres Wednesday and also stars Carlo Aquino.
