Wil Dasovich, now free of cancer, admitted that rumored girlfriend Alodia Gosiengfiao was a prominent figure in his fight against his illness.

The former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate, who shared the story of his battle 6 months ago, said he only knew the popular cosplayer "a couple of months" before his diagnosis, but she was there for him along with his family.

“Definitely,” he said when asked if his situation took their relationship to the next level.

"She was there for everything, for me. She’s a very busy girl. She makes a healthy amount of money and she loves what she’s doing, but she really dropped most of everything and she spent the majority of the last 6 months here with me, taking care of me through chemotherapy," he told ANC's Early Edition.

"She was just my rock. She makes me emotional just thinking about it. The way I feel about her is—I can’t put into words at the moment," he said, adding that he will do something special for her for Valentine's Day.

However, Dasovich was quick to clarify that this was not an official announcement of their being together.

“Wait for Valentine’s Day. Wait for the Valentine’s Day special and you might see something official or what not,” he said.

Speculations about Dasovich and Gosiengfiao's relationship started after she flew to the US in September to show her support for the vlogger.

It was further ignited when Nico Bolzico, husband of Solenn Heussaff, described Dasovich and Gosiengfiao in an Instagram story as the "new official couple."

Dasovich shot this down, telling his fans not to believe everything they read.

Now that he's free of cancer, Dasovich said he plans to go back to the Philippines, where several projects are waiting for him.

"I'm excited for the comeback, to be able to come back to the Philippines and see everyone. It's gonna be an emotional thing, but I've been waiting for this moment for the last 6 months," he said.
