MANILA – Freestyle is beginning 2018 on a high note.

The Filipino band recently came out with its new single “Kahapon,” digitally released by Warner Music Philippines.

Composed by the band’s bassist Rommel de la Cruz, “Kahapon” is a romantic ballad that showcases the searing voice of Ava Santos, the group’s female vocalist.

With this new single, the band is expecting to duplicate the successes of their previous hits including “Before I Let You Go,” “So Slow,” “This Time” and “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang.”

“Kahapon” is now available on Spotify.

Under 1Entertainment Inc., Freestyle’s current members include de la Cruz, Santos, Joshua Desiderio, Mike Luis, Gerd Banzon and Tat Suzara.

Following the release of their single, Freestyle marks the “Love Month” with a back-to-back concert with Side A on February 14 at Dagupan Stadia in Pangasinan.

On February 16, Freestyle will perform at New Waves Bar and Grill in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija.

The group will be part of a grand music event “Rakrakan Festival” at the Aseana Concert Grounds in Paranaque City on February 24.
