In an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Monday, Velasquez said she has vocal training under Kitchie Molina.

"I just needed to learn what I've learned before. Kalimutan 'yung mga naaral ko na and then 'yung ibang part alalahanin ulit. Kasi 'yung nanganak ako, you forget," Velasquez explained.

"Ang pinakamahirap sa akin 'yung kalimutan 'yung nakasanayan ko na. (Kalimutan) kasi it doesn't fit me anymore because I'm older and my voice is different, my throat is different. So I have to learn a new technique," the singer said.

"I have to do different techniques so it's doesn't burden my throat so much but I can still do it in some songs but pinipili ko na 'yung ibang ganun," Velasquez added.
