MANILA -- Karla Estrada shared her birthday message for Rommel Padilla, the father of her eldest son, Daniel Padilla, on Friday.

On Instagram, Estrada posted photos of her with Padilla as she thanked and greeted him on his special day.

"Maligayang kaarawan sa iyo, Meng. Salamat sa pinagsamahan at pinagsasamahan pa para sa ikabubuti ng ating anak. Mabuhay ka, Meng, at ang mabuti mong puso," she said.

Despite their failed relationship, Estrada and Padilla ended up as good friends for the sake of their son.
