MANILA -- Alex Gonzaga's mother and talent manager Crisanta "Pinty" Gonzaga is supportive of her youngest daughter's relationship with businessman Mikee Morada.

In a message sent to ABS-CBN News, Mrs. Gonzaga described Morada as a good man. "We like him. Respectful, humble and may pagka-conservative like us. So hopefully siya na talaga," she said.

Mrs. Gonzaga stressed that when it comes to her children's love life, she and her husband are just there to guide them.

"Tulad ng kay Toni," she noted. "Siyempre pinagpi-pray natin na sana siya 'yung bigay ni Lord kay Alex. 'Di naman kasi kami ang makikisama, 'yung anak ko."

In an Instagram post on Christmas Day, Alex shared a photo of her with Morada.

In an earlier interview, Alex confirmed that she already met Morada's family and that her mother approves of their relationship.
