MANILA – Bad weather spawned by the habagat and tropical storm Enteng prompted the cancellation of dozens of flights on Tuesday, September 3. 

The Manila International Airport Authority said the following flights were canceled as of 10 a.m.

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said airports under its supervision “remain operational and have reported no damage amid the onslaught of Typhoon Enteng in the country.” 

But for safety, CAAP reiterated that aircraft with a maximum certificated takeoff weight of 5,700 kilos or less are prohibited from flying under storm signal number 1.

The CAAP Operations Center recorded 38 domestic flight cancellations at various airports due to Enteng on Monday.

Passengers are advised to confirm their flight schedules with their respective airlines and arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to their scheduled departure.
