MANILA -- Converge is offering faster speed for subscribers of its fiber internet plans.

In a statement, the company said subscribers of their FiberX 1500 plan now have an internet speed of 300 Mbps, from the previous 200 Mbps.

Subscribers of FiberX Plan 2000 now have 500 Mbps, while those on FiberX Plan 2500 now have 700 Mbps speed.

Meanwhile, those who have FiberX Plan 3500 will now have a 1 Gbps connection.

Subscribers of Converge's Time of Day plans also get a speed boost, which will give them double their subscribed bandwidth from 7 a.m. to 6:59 p.m. for the Day Plan, and from 7 p.m. to 6:59 a.m. for the Night Plan.
