In a statement, the telco said the plans on offer have speeds of 1Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps. These will initially be offered to a select customer segment, but will soon be sold to the wider market.

PLDT said 10 gigabits per second (Gbps) is equal to 10,000Mbps, which is at least 10 times the fastest internet now offered by PLDT's competitors.
