MANILA - Lucio Tan III was elected as director of LT Group and PAL Holdings and was appointed in positions vacated by his late father Lucio "Bong" Tan Jr, the holding firms said Wednesday.

Aside from the holding firms, the grandson of tycoon Lucio Tan was also elected as director of MacroAsia Corp, Tanduay Distillers Inc, Philippine Airlines and Air Philippines Corp, PAL Holdings said in a disclosure to the stock exchange.
