MANILA - Cement manufacturer Holcim Philippines said on Monday it is investing $300 million to raise its cement production capacity by 30 percent or 13 million metric tons by 2020.

Holcim said it will upgrade its facilities in Bulacan and Misamis Oriental by installing more efficient kilns and mills and waste heat recovery systems.

The cement manufacturer said the projects are part of its productivity and capacity investments which started in 2012.
