MANILA -- President Rodrigo Duterte said San Miguel Corp submitted a "good" proposal to build an alternative to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
The National Economic Development Authority approved Ang's P735.6 billion proposal to build an airport in Bulacan last April.
"Ramon Ang is there, consortium nila... Nakita ko maganda," Duterte said in a televised interview with Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo.

The near two-day closure of NAIA in August due to a stalled Xiamen Airlines jet on the runway highlighted the need for an "automatic Plan A and B" that includes Clark Airport, he said.
